Professor Sarah Alyn Stacey
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Professor Sarah Alyn Stacey, as the inaugural Trinity Women Graduates Professor in Residence. Professor Alyn Stacey is currently the Head of the French Department at Trinity College Dublin and founding Director of the Trinity Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies.
Appointed to Trinity in 1996 her research and teaching focus on French Renaissance literature, politics, religious dissent, the early modern Court of Savoy, and Franco-Irish literary and historical links. She has been widely recgnised by her peers holding the the titles, of FTCD, Académie de Savoie, and Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite to name a few.

Will explore women, culture, history, politics and European connections through a developing series of talks and events at Trinity College Dublin.
